Department of Higher Education (DHE), Assam makes it compulsory to generate DHE unique ID for all those students who want to take online Admission in the institutions of Assam. Information Regarding Smooth Registration, Correction and Regeneration of the Unique ID is Given Below. 

Assam DHE Unique ID Registration 2025-26

Directorate of Higher Education, Assam has made it mandatory for the Unique ID DHE Registration for those Students who want to take online Admission in the state-owned universities or Colleges. DHE Assam has released the Official Notification Regarding the Online Admission for the Academic Session 2025-26, Students can follow the Official Notification to generate their Unique ID.

As Per the Notification Released by the Directorate of Higher Education, One Student can generate only One unique ID and that unique ID will be used in all applications for admission in universities and Colleges. 

All the Aspiring Students who want to take Admission in Higher Education Colleges or Universities in Assam will have to generate a Unique ID for Online Admission because it is necessary for the Application and Scholarships offered by the Government.

Importance of DHE Unique ID 

• The unique ID shall be used at the time of admission into various Government/Provincialised Colleges and State Universities under the Higher Education, Assam.
• The Unique ID shall be used at the Time of Application for the Scholarships offered by the Government of Assam.
• The Unique ID will be used in applying for the CM Financial Assistance Programs.
• The Unique ID has all Your Information Regarding Academic Work and Passed Results.
• It is easier to get all your academic information through the Unique ID.

Guidelines for DHE Unique ID Registration 

• Register Your Information to Generate the Unique ID.
• One Student can have only 1 Unique ID, which will be used in all applications for admission in institutions of Assam.
• Those students who have generated the Unique ID Last Year do not need to generate a new ID.
• Correction can be made in the Details of Your Unique ID application.

DHE Unique ID Registration Online 

• Students will have to visit the official website of the DHE Online Admission Website.
• Then they will have to scroll down to click on the Registration: Generate Unique ID Button given on the Homepage.
• Now you can fill your Details like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email.
• Enter Other Details in the Registration form of Unique ID.
• After successfully filling out the Form, click on the Submit Button.
• After Verification of the DHE Unique ID Registration Form, You will Receive Your Unique ID through an SMS on Your Mobile Number. 

DHE Unique ID Update Form

• Visit the Official Website of the DHE Online Admissions.
• Click on the Correction button given on the Homepage.
• Now, enter your Unique ID and Date of Birth to log in to the Dashboard.
• Now update the Required Details that need to be corrected.
• Now click on the Submit Button for Final Submission.
